~SCIENCE~MY FAVOURITE TOPIC AT SCHOOL~

hai....kita jumpa lagi!!!
hari ni Myra nak ckp pasal SCIENCE(dlm B.Melayu-SAINS)
ok...nak start dari mana ye???hmmmm
HA!!!
Myra pakai bahasa english tau!!!

  • SCIENCE IS THE SYSTEMATIC STUDY OF NATURE AND HOW IT AFFECTS US AND OUR ENVIRONMENT.NATURAL PHENOMENA THAT HAPPEN IN OUR ENVIRONMENT CAN BE EXPLAINED THROUGH SCIENCE.
  • SCIENCE IS PART OF OUR DAILY LIVES.OUR FOOD, CLOTHES AND THE APPLIANCES WE USE ARE RELATED TO SCIENCE, SCIENCE HELPED US TO PRODUCE MORE FOOD, NEW MATERIALS, AND MORE EFFICIENT APPLIANCES FOR OUR BENEFITS.TROUGH SCIENTIFIC STUDIES, NEW KNOWLEDGE AND DISCOVERIES ARE OBTAINED.THESE IMPROVED OUR STANDARD OF LIVING AND THE QUALITY OF OUR ENVIRONMENT.
  • SCIENCE COVERS A VERY WIDE AREA OF STUDY.IT IS DIVIDED INTO VARIOUS FIELDS, SUCH AS:-
  1. BIOLOGY-The study of living things.
  2. PHYSICS-The study of interaction of matter and energy .
  3. CHEMISTRY-The study of composition and chemical properties of substances, thier reactions and uses.
  4. GEOLOGY-The study of rocks and minerals.
  5. ASTRONOMY-The study of stars and planets
  6. METEOROLOGY-The study of weather and climate
  • SCIENCE OFFER US A WIDE CHOICE OF CAREERS.THE CAREER A PERSON CHOOSES DEPENDS ON HIS INTERESTS AND THE FIELD OF SCIENCE THAT HE CHOOSES.MEDICINE AND ENGINEERING ARE TWO POPULAR CAREERS.

COMMON LABORATORY APPARATUS
  • crucible
  • test tube
  • evaporating dish
  • cork/rubber stopper
  • test tube holder
  • syringe
  • glass slide
  • stop watch
  • beaker
  • conical flask
  • flat-bottomed flask
  • filter funnel
  • tripod stand & wire gauze
  • bunsen burner
  • test tube rack
  • glass rod
  • retort stand and retort clamp
  • burette
  • gas jar
  • crucible tongs
  • pipette
  • measuring cylinder
  • thermometer

HAZARD SYMBOLS
  • corrosive
  • highly flammable
  • explosive
  • toxic/poisonous
  • harmful or irritant
  • radioactive

THE STEPS IN A SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATION
  • Scientists use the scientific method to obtain scientific knowledge. This involve systematic investigation to find out the causes of scientific phenomena.the steps in scientific investigation are shown below:-
  1. Determine what we want to find out.
  2. Make a smart guess to explain the problem.
  3. Plan a systematic investigation to find out if our guess is correct.
  4. Decide which conditions to change.
  5. Write down what has been observed (Figure 1.7 (a)).
  6. Find a meaning for our observations (Figure 1.7 (b)).
  7. Decide whether the guess we made is true.
  8. Write a report on the scientific investigation (Figure 1.7 (c)).

*my ambition is to be a SCIENTIST BIOLOGY
#kadang2 nak jadi PILOT pun ado jugak lorh..haha..:)

SAINTIS BIOLOGY

PILOT

besar nanti kita akan tau nak jadi apa...hanya ALLAH yg menentukannya...semoga mendapat pekerjaan yg baik..aminnnnnnnnnnnnn

oklah..rasenye sampai sini dulu kot pembelajaran kita hari ini.
jumpa lagi...byeeeeee
*klo x paham english ni buat2 pahamlah ye...hehehe!!!
